Upon arrival at Godkhali, you will board the boat, where our crew will warmly welcome you with drinks, breakfast, and tea. As the cruise begins, you will head toward Sajnekhali, where entry permission and a guide will be arranged. From here, you will venture into the vast Sundarban forest, one of the world’s largest mangroves, rich in unique flora and fauna.
During the cruise, you will visit two watchtowers:
Sajnekhali Watch Tower: The most popular watchtower in the park, this spot is also where tourists obtain entry permission to the national park. Key attractions include the Bono Bibi Temple, the Mangrove Interpretation Center, and the turtle project. You can also spot various bird species, such as pelicans, kingfishers, lapwings, white-bellied sea eagles, and sandpipers.
Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower: Known for frequent tiger sightings, this watchtower also offers views of deer, wild boars, and crocodiles. A freshwater pond nearby attracts animals, and the surrounding clearings provide excellent opportunities for wildlife observation.
While cruising through narrow creeks and channels, you may encounter diverse wildlife, including spotted deer, wild boars, monitor lizards, civet cats, crocodiles, dolphins, tigers, and a variety of bird species.
